|Recommended: YesOverrated — I appreciate the staff in the front office The painters are the kinda people that painted like they don't have access to drop clothes or masking tape NO ATTEMPT TO PAY ATTENTION TO DETAIL It's very disappointing to see paint on the nice cabinets, the floors, and covering all the sockets to the point that plugs have to be forced into them. It seems like remodeling the clubhouse shouldn't be the focus if it's already the nicest unit on the property. IJS
|Recommended: YesFirst, I want to say that the Village's current three-star rating is representative of the previous staff, who were all let go a few months ago. The new staff deserves a much higher rating, as they are not only professional, helpful, and kind, but have truly been revitalizing the property week after week.
And with that, I want to give props to the new maintenance staff on property they are quick, timely, kind, and professional In one instance, my AC went out on a Friday afternoon in the middle of the summer, and though it was well past five and pouring rain when he was able to get to me, one of the men came into my apartment and fixed my AC -- ensuring I had air for the weekend. Beyond what I could have ever hoped for with submitting a ticket mid-Friday afternoon, as well as what I expected based off my experience with apartments .
Before this team came on property, I had stopped submitting maintenance requests since they never got answered. However, now that they are here, I am q

|Recommended: NoAwful — This has literally been the absolute worst living experience of my life They charge all this money for rent to put the cheapest grade of paint they can find on the walls and it’s khaki It’s stains the moment anything touches it and it’s not wipe-able. I was moved in my apartment with pest from previous tenants. Several things were broken. My AC went out in less than a week of move in, my sinks were clogged and filled with hair from previous tenants. My master bedroom fan sounds like it’s about to fall out the ceiling. There’s a leak in my wall by my kitchen sink that I can hear. My power surges often I have to flip my top 2 breakers at lease 4-5 times a week. I was promised a new apartment by previous management and denied that apartment once new management took over. Maintenance is awful. The property is always filthy the breezeways need to be power washed the stairs are nasty the dumpster always overflowing with trash No lighting in the breezeway. Only 2 of my eyes work on my stove. I had drug dealers across the hall from me and their clients came and went throughout the entire day. Maintenance did an eviction across the hall left the furniture in the breezeway. Definitely 0 10 if I could give no stars I would. This is the ghetto I don’t care how close they are to the hospital These apartments are becoming a product of there environment. If they don’t get the right management team in the next few year it may as well me a project. And everyone is rude. I can’t wait until my lease is up so I can leave.

|Recommended: NoDon't want to live in a GHETTO and pay BIG RENT MONEY for it — There is a serious problem with keeping the grounds and parking lot clean. Trash is everywhere including in front of my apartment and other tenants who constantly leave trash out that smells and violates required rules. Management is not doing anything to address these issues. Please remove the glass in the parking lot and on outside sidewalk in the back of bldg 411 - The glass has been in the parking lot for weeks now. It is very dangerous to walk on the sidewalk and park because there is glass in the parking lot, AND NOW on the sidewalk and in the grass. I was amazed to see the lawn people cutting grass yesterday 10.24.23 yet they did not remove the glass. I also see that no one ever removed the dog shit from the sidewalk near the entrance to the building. There is a shed where the door is hanging and looks broken. The things inside are filthy and need to be removed and the door fixed. If I have to keep asking for the place around me to not look like a ghetto, waste dumpsite that smells and looks dirty and unhygienic because of lack of attention to the back side of the building I will call the city sanitation and health department and consult legal remedies to get action. I cannot pay BIG rent - uphold my responsibility yet have to live with trash around my door that is not mine, in the parking lot and general grounds around this building. Why is my building ignored and not kept up in the front and back The repairs I asked for inside my unit also have not been done- except the obvious big problem TWICE now where the ceiling leaked water inside my unit. Several times when I submitted work requests someone marks them done but they are NOT done. This apartment complex brick buildings look nice, but the conditions living in building 411-whatever - are deplorable. It is embarrassing to bring anyone here. I work from the apartment part time but I cannot hold meetings here and let anyone see this place. My rent requires inside and outside to be in excellent condition. Management do your job. Clean up the grounds and parking lot and grass in the front and back of bldg 411. I don't know if there's a need to use a different garbage collection company or grounds maintenance company but they are not collecting and picking up the trash in my building. Tenants are not complying with trash collection rules. Finally, the walkway to the building of 411 needs to be power washed.
